Elective Concierge coordinates travel, communication, and support throughout your surgical journey. While I carefully select experienced surgeons and facilities, all medical procedures carry inherent risks and healing varies from person to person.
A complication does not automatically indicate negligence or surgical error. Factors such as individual anatomy, circulation, skin quality, prior surgeries, diabetes, autoimmune conditions, smoking history, medications, and overall health can significantly affect recovery and final results.
Because Elective Concierge is not a medical provider, I cannot diagnose conditions, interpret healing progress, or determine medical causation. All medical assessments, treatment decisions, and responsibility for clinical care remain solely with the operating surgeon and your treating healthcare providers.
If post-operative concerns arise, my role is to:
• facilitate communication with the surgical team
• coordinate follow-up evaluation
• help you obtain appropriate local care if needed
• ensure your questions are reviewed by the surgeon
I do not determine whether healing is “normal,” assign medical fault, or provide medical advice. My role isn’t to promise perfection — it’s to make sure you’re supported, informed, and never navigating recovery alone.
No. Every surgical procedure worldwide has a known complication rate, even when performed perfectly. Healing depends heavily on individual biology — circulation, skin quality, inflammation response, underlying conditions, and post-operative care all influence outcomes. A complication is a medical event, not automatically negligence.
Two people can have the same surgeon, same procedure, and same aftercare — yet heal completely differently. Factors that strongly affect healing include:
• diabetes or insulin resistance
• higher BMI
• prior surgeries or scar tissue
• medications and hormones
• immune response
• genetics and blood supply
I coordinate medical communication but do not medically assess healing. Any concern is reviewed directly by the surgeon so you receive clinical guidance rather than guesswork. This protects your safety and ensures accurate answers.
I immediately gather photos and medical notes and submit them to the surgeon for evaluation. If local treatment is needed, I can help you obtain appropriate care and ensure the surgeon stays involved in your case remotely.
No ethical medical professional can guarantee a specific healing course or cosmetic outcome. Surgery improves anatomy — it cannot control individual healing behavior. Most concerns resolve during recovery, but revisions or extended care are sometimes part of surgical medicine worldwide.
